Raw Tropical Living has been in the works for some time now and I am happy to finally have the blog up and running. The intention I have set for this blog is to share information on raw foods, a healthy lifestyle and how we can take charge of our own health in these precarious times. Hopefully there will be something of interest to everyone.
I started following a raw vegan lifestyle a little over a year ago. I am by no means an expert, teacher, guru or saint. The purpose of this blog, along with the YouTube channel, is to share the knowledge that I am discovering through exploring the power of raw foods. I welcome discussion and hope that I will be corrected if I get something wrong. I hope this will be a learning process for me as well.
Although the focus will be primarily on the raw food lifestyle I think that anyone interested in improving their health, having more energy or losing weight will also benefit. Living in Costa Rica offers me the opportunity to be surrounded by a diverse choice of fruits and vegetables year round. For this I am very grateful and try to never take it for granted. Living in a country such as this will offer an infinite amount of topics to write and make videos about.
There are many different approaches to the raw food diet and there is a lot of discussion in the raw food world about whose approach is right, or the best. My experience so far on my path has been that most all of them have something of value that you can use for yourself. I would encourage you always to use your intuition as you follow your path. Educate yourself, read, learn as much as possible and then apply the knowledge to your body and see what works for you.
Everybody can benefit from raw living foods. Even if you don’t follow a raw vegan lifestyle there is great value in adding fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. And who knows where that might lead? When I started exploring and taking charge of my health I had no idea that I would end up eating like I do today. I can honestly say that I feel better than I ever have in my life. As you can see the site is still a work in progress but that will quickly change. I invite you to come back, and if you find value in the information shared, please subscribe. There is also a corresponding YouTube channel that will deal with many raw food and health issues along with fun fitness stuff and the natural beauty of Costa Rica.
